The Hippocratic Oath

"I will not give to a woman an instrument to produce abortion. With purity and holiness I will pass my life and practice my art."

This is taken from the original oath Hippocrates wrote in 400 B.C. This is the same oath Dr. Fritz Baumgartner took as a member of the UCLA School of Medicine graduating class of 1984. Unfortunately, the Hippocratic Oath has been modified to allow for abortion. For that reason, Dr. Baumgartner and other doctors are on a crusade to outlaw abortion and return the Hippocratic Oath to its original wording.

"An oath is a sacred trust, the violation of which carries grave consequences for one's practice of medicine, one's patients, and one's country," writes Dr. Baumgartner. Below are links to letters he's written hoping to open eyes and change hearts so that every person - born and preborn - is protected when they enter a physician's office.
