“True Love Waits”

A national abstinence movement is catching fire across the country. "True Love Waits" is a youth movement that's helping teenagers and college students save sex for marriage.

Above, high school students in Mount Juliet, Tennessee are signing the "True Love Waits" pledge card. Nearly 200 students signed the pledge on this campus.

Since "True Love Waits" began in 1993, more than 2.4 million youth have signed their pledge card and made a commitment to save sex for marriage.

This includes signing a statement which reads, "Believing that true love waits, I make a commitment to God, myself, my family, those I date, and my future mate to be sexually pure until the day I enter marriage."
